Ocean Front Custom Home
This house was the first home in Gloucester MA that had to meet the new energy stretch code. This meant it needed to meet a certain HERS rating which consisted of an inspection after insulation as well as a test before occupancy which would give us our rating on how energy efficient the home was. All of the products for this home were high end and rated for high efficiency. All of the insulation in this house was closed cell foam. When the HERS inspector did a blower door test before occupancy informed us that we had built one of the tightest homes he had seen or recorded.
