In October of 2011 we hired Jason as our builder/contractor to knock down and build us our new home in Ipswich. We interviewed a number of builders and decided on Jason because we felt comfortable with his ability to take the preliminary plans we had and with his recommendations get them approved for the building permit. His experience with working with the town inspectors proved to be very beneficial especially towards the end of the project when we were trying to get in by a certain date. Jason’s cost estimates was the most thorough and honest.

Demolition and construction began in October of 2011 and Jason was on site for the tear down of the cottage. As each of the different phases began we were given the opportunity to meet and discuss the project with Jason’s chosen subcontractors and we were impressed with the character, professionalism and quality they each brought to the project. As the project progressed we got a lot of comments on the quality of the work done. Any issue that came up Jason took care of immediately. The project was completed within the expected time frame.

From the beginning Jason was very professional and communicated well with us throughout the project. He was very proactive in the decision making process to be sure that our responsibilities kept the project on time. His biggest challenge was dealing with a customer that was very budget conscious and through it all was sensitive to and patient with our concerns. It has been over a year since we moved in and to date any issues that have come up he has responded to and stood behind. We have no regrets in our decision to go with Jason Kamps Builders. We are very happy with the quality of his work and are very comfortable in our new home.
